The CIO Scholarship Fund is a 501(c3) non-profit that was established in 2002 and serves as a major component of SPIRE ONE's philanthropic platform. Our mission is to help build and enhance information technology leadership. Today, we accomplish this primarily through community engagement and scholarships:

1) We enhance interactions between students, schools, and IT practitioners.  

2) We provide scholarships and grants to students in economic need through local universities.

 

We recognize that individuals who grow through adversity and those who help them are both developing valuable leadership skills. Since its inception, the fund has raised over $1M and has generated countless volunteer hours from IT leaders to local schools.
